Jul 6, 2010, 17:50 GMT
Helsinki - Three people were killed in a shooting outside a McDonalds restaurant in southern Finland on Tuesday.
The suspected gunman shot three men in the drive-through area of the franchise in the town of Porvoo following an argument.
Police said two of the victims died at the scene while the third died in hospital.
The suspect initially fled the scene in a car driven by his wife, but was later taken into custody.
According to police the suspect has a previous conviction for murder and two for attempted murder.
He is alleged to have fired more than 10 shots at five occupants of a cabriolet from his parked car after an argument while waiting to be served at the outlet.
The restaurant was re-opened shortly after the triple murder. Four shooting incidents at schools and a shopping centre in Finland over the last 10 years have claimed the lives of 33 people.
