Yoko Ono to exhibit interactive Berlin show in September

Berlin - Conceptual artist Yoko Ono is to unveil a new show in Berlin this September on the subject of violence, according to a statement issued by the artist Monday.
'Das Gift,' which translates as 'poison,' consists of films, sound recordings and sculptures, to go on show at Berlin's Haunch of Venison gallery from September 10 to 13.
'I'd like to draw awareness to all the violence that is happening all over the world,' Ono, 77, said in a statement.
The main exhibit will be a sheet of glass pierced with a bullet hole.
'I ask the people who come and visit the exhibition to bring something of their own personal experience with violence: a picture, or a text, that will then be placed on the gallery wall,' Ono added.
However, one room is to be reserved for smiles. In it, happy visitors will be filmed and projected in other areas of the exhibition.
Yoko Ono, the widow of murdered Beatles member John Lennon, lives in New York where much of her work is on exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).
