Rains spark more flooding in southern Spain
Aug 18, 2010, 13:02 GMT
Cordoba, Spain - Heavy rains led to more flooding in the southern Spanish province of Cordoba on Wednesday, with a house collapsing in Aguilar de la Frontera, local officials said.
No new injuries were reported in the locality where two people were killed when their car was swept away by floodwater earlier in the week.
The current flooding has killed a total of three people, including a man who was crushed by a collapsing wall in Bujalance. The village, which remained without drinking water, was preparing to bury the man on Wednesday.
Meanwhile in Aguilas near Murcia, emergency workers pulled more than 10 cars from the sea where they had been swept by high waves.
