Ecuadorian triathlete stabbed to death in Budapest

Budapest - An Ecuadorian triathlete has been knifed to death in the Hungarian capital Budapest, state news agency MTI reported Sunday.
The man - who recently competed in the city's triathalon - was found bleeding to death in the centre of the city in the early hours of Sunday.
He had suffered numerous knife wounds and was rushed to hospital where he subsequently died of his injuries, police said.
The victim was a 38-year-old Ecuadorian national who had competed in the world triathlon championships held in Budapest the previous week, MTI reported citing the event's organisers.
Police are treating the case as one of murder.
