Czech school evacuated after pupil brings grenade to class

Prague - A Czech school was evacuated on Wednesday after a seventh-grader brought a World War II hand grenade to class, local media reported.
The 14-year-old showed off the grenade in front of his classmates before handing it over to his teacher. Police took the grenade, which turned out to be harmless, to be examined by experts.
The boy, described as a troublemaker, acquired the obect in exchange for a badge, the CTK news agency reported, citing the school headmaster.
