Dec 6, 2010, 5:01 GMT
Berlin - Britain's Prince Harry is to appear on a charity fund-raising show on German television later this month, the Axel Springer newspaper company said in Berlin early Monday.
Harry, 26, is to speak on the Ein Herz für Kinder (have a heart for children) show on December 18 in Berlin. The annual gala evening, which is attended by celebrities and business people, will be broadcast by ZDF public television.
The newspaper group said it would be Harry's first visit to Berlin and the first time he has taken part in a German TV show.
The evening will raise money for children's charities.
Harry is to appeal for funds for Sentebale, a charity he set up jointly with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in April 2006. The organization aids orphans and children in danger in Lesotho, which has the world's third-highest rate of HIV infections.
