Lohan still owes us nearly 270,000 dollars, says Austrian businessman

Vienna - US actress Lindsay Lohan has yet to return close to 200,000 euros (270,000 dollars) for an appearance that she cancelled one year ago in Vienna, an Austrian businessman said Monday.
The outstanding sum could add to the starlet's recent legal troubles, which include a charge for jewellery theft.
Lohan was booked to appear at the Vienna Opera Ball in February last year, but cancelled on the day she was scheduled to appear as the guest of Richard Lugner, a construction firm owner and socialite.
Lugner did not rule out suing Lohan, but said he is not sure whether this would bring him back the fee 'below 200,000 euros' that he paid in advance.
'If we sue, we are faced with the problem of how solvent she is,' he told the German Press Agency dpa.
Lugner was optimistic to get his money at one point last year when the troubled actress appeared set to clinch a film deal, but the engagement fell through, he said.
So far, Lugner says he has received only 10,000 euros.
Last week the 24-year-old actress was charged with stealing a necklace in Los Angeles, an accusation she has denied.
She is also under investigation for allegedly assaulting an employee in her rehab clinic.
