German train strike set for Tuesday
Feb 21, 2011, 18:02 GMT
Frankfurt - Train drivers in Germany will strike for two hours on Tuesday, halting trains on selected routes, the GDL union announced Monday.
The strikers are demanding that rail companies accept a nationwide collective labour contract for 26,000 drivers, whichever rail company they work for.
Currently unions negotiate separately with state-owned Deutsche Bahn and with commercial rail operators.
