Greek police arrest terrorist suspects, find arms cache
Mar 14, 2011, 11:17 GMT
Athens - Greek police detained seven people and uncovered an arms cache in various locations across the country on Monday which they believe belongs to terrorists.
Police detained five men and two women and raided apartments in the Greek capital Athens and in the central town of Volos and found handguns, automatic rifles, wigs and police unforms which they believe belong to the Fire Conspiracy Cells group.
The group has claimed responsibility for a number of parcel bombs sent in November to embassies, government buildings and the homes of Greek politicians.
It also claimed responsibility for a powerful explosion which danaged a court house in Athens in January this year.
