Bulgarian parliament debates no-confidence motion

Sofia - Bulgarian parliament on Monday began debating a no-confidence motion, the third against Prime Minister Boyko Borisov's minority government since 2009.
The opposition Socialist Party and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms launched the initiative accusing the cabinet of shortcomings in internal security policies that delayed Bulgaria's accession to the European passport-free Schengen zone.
The vote is expected to take place on Tuesday. It is also expected to fail by falling far short of the required 121 votes in the assembly with 240 seats.
