Aug 7, 2011, 17:16 GMT
Prague/Bratislava - Three Czechs participating in an historical event at Kost Castle in Northern Bohemia were hurt on Sunday when the cannon they were firing malfunctioned, a news report said, quoting police.
One of the three men had to be ferried to hospital by helicopter.
All three were members of an historical association holding an event in the castle, which dates back to the 14th century.
A police spokeswoman said none of the spectators had been hurt.
'Apparently there was an explosion as they fired the canon,' she told Novinky.cz online news.
