Aug 9, 2011, 9:01 GMT
Warsaw - A Polish forensics team on Tuesday was investigating a crime scene in central Poland where a grandmother was suspected of shooting her disabled 3 and 5-year-old grandchildren before shooting herself.
The bodies of a 3-year-old girl and her 5-year-old brother were found with gunshot wounds in a forest in the town of Zabki on Monday, local police said.
The 64-year-old grandmother was rushed to the hospital, where she died later Monday. She left a suicide note confessing to the murders, Polish Radio reported, citing anonymous sources.
Both of the children were handicapped, and were left in their grandmother's care while their parents were at work.
