Aug 10, 2011, 12:27 GMT
Warsaw - Polish police found the bodies of two girls, aged four and 13, along with the bodies of their parents in northern Poland, local media reported Wednesday.
The father, who was recently released from prison, had allegedly killed his wife and children with a knife before hanging himself, broadcaster TVN 24 reported, citing anonymous sources.
Police were investigating the scene and said it was too early to know the cause of the deaths.
Police were called to the scene by the family's neighbour, in the village of Szczepankowo.
