Prague - A passer-by was killed Monday when the facade of an historical apartment building crumbled in the eastern Czech city of Olomouc, police reported.
The woman died at the scene of the accident, police said.

The tramway's overhead electrical line was also torn down by falling debris.
Authorities were investigating the cause of the collapse. Olomouc is 250 kilometres east of the capital Prague.
