Bremen's Wiese excused for Munich match, Pizarro remains doubtful
Nov 30, 2011, 12:28 GMT
Bremen, Germany - Werder Bremen will be without goalkeeper Tim Wiese for Saturday's Bundesliga match at Bayern Munich for personal reasons, coach Thomas Schaaf said.
Schaaf said that Wiese travelled to his mother after the death of a relative and was not able to concentrate on football.
Sebastian Mielitz is expected to be between the posts when fourth-placed Bremen play at Munich, who have dropped from first to third after two straight defeats.
Bremen may also be without key forward Claudio Pizarro, who is nursing a knee ligament injury.
