French officials discover 346 kilograms of cocaine in container

Paris - French customs officials have discovered 346 kilograms of cocaine with a black market value of 20 million euros (27 million dollars)in a cocoa container, they said Friday.
The drugs were found on Monday in the northern port city of Le Havre in the container which was shipped from the Dominican Republic, the officials said.
The shipper and the container's recipient have denied knowing that the drugs were in the container.
France has already confiscated 36 tons of black market drugs this year with a street value of 520 million euros, said Budget Minister Valerie Pecresse, who is also responsible for customs.
