Opposition wins Croatian election

Zagreb - The opposition coalition led by the Social Democratic Party (SDP) won Croatian parliamentary election Sunday, state television HRT reported.
Quoting exit polls, HRT said that the Kukuriku coalition won 44.5 per cent of the ballots cast.
The ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) suffered a massive defeat, claiming only 22 per cent of the votes.
