Havel was great statesman, says Czech Premier Petr Necas

Prague - Vaclav Havel was a great statesman, Czech Prime Minister Petr Necas said Sunday, following the death of the former president, dissident and playwright.

'His word carried weight in politics and society,' Necas was quoted as saying by the CTK news agency.
