Rafinha misses Bayern's opening training sessions

Doha - Brazilian defender Rafinha has missed Bayern Munich's opening training session in Doha after visa problems prevented him from travelling to Qatar.
Bayern's director of sports Christian Nerlinger said on Tuesday that the 26-year-old would hopefully travel to Qatar on Tuesday evening. 'There were some issues about the visa between Brazil and Qatar, but they have been settled now.'
Like his Bayern team-mate Luiz Gustavo, the Brazilian was given permission to celebrate the New Year in his home country, but unlike Luiz Gustavo, Rafinho could not travel as planned.
'It was not his fault at all,' Nerlinger said.
