Hamburg's Toere sidelined with meniscus injury

Hamburg - SV Hamburg will be without Goekhan Toere for around six weeks because the rising Turkey midfielder has to undergo knee surgery.
The Bundesliga club Hamburg said that Toere tore the meniscus during winter break training on Friday and will undergo the necessary operation on Thursday in Cologne.
Toere, 19, came to Hamburg in summer from England's Chelsea and has quickly become an important player at the northern German club who are struggling in 13th place. Hamburg's first match after the hibernation period is on January 22 against champions Borussia Dortmund.
