Barcelona's Iniesta again out with pulled muscle
Jan 26, 2012, 0:27 GMT
Madrid - World champions Barcelona said early on Thursday that midfielder Andres Iniesta will be out of action for around two weeks after pulling the femoral biceps muscle in his left leg.
Iniesta suffered the latest injury after half an hour of Wednesday's tense 2-2 draw at home to Real Madrid in the King's Cup, a result which allowed Barca to edge their way into the semi-finals on a narrow 4-3 aggregate.
Iniesta, 27, has suffered four such injuries already this season, to the consternation of the club's medical staff.
Barca's other injury victims at the moment are David Villa and Ibrahim Affelay.
