Feb 4, 2012, 15:02 GMT
Moscow - A couple and seven of their children died when their wooden caravan caught fire near Moscow, state prosecutors in the city of Podolsk said Saturday, according to Interfax news agency.
The only person to survive was the family's 11-year-old daughter. The mother had reportedly been pregnant.
The family was seeking warmth from an oven, in temperatures of -20 degrees Celsius, when it is thought that sparks set the caravan's wooden walls on fire.
