Feb 5, 2012, 10:53 GMT
Copenhagen/Oslo - About 135 passengers, including two members of the Norwegian royal family, were Sunday forced to evacuate a plane at Copenhagen Airport due to smoke in the cabin.
Scandinavian carrier SAS said there had been a problem with one of the aircraft's engines prior to takeoff for Norway.
Norwegian Crown Prince Haakon and his wife Mette-Marit were onboard.
'Ok, my morning turned out a bit more exciting than expected.. Phew..,' Mette-Marit said on Twitter. She also posted a photo of the twin-engine MD80 plane, and thanked the crew.
A spokesman for the Norwegian royal court confirmed that the couple had been on the plane.
