Swiss man detained over possible link to German neo-Nazi murders
Feb 10, 2012, 16:21 GMT
Zurich - A Swiss man was detained Friday for his possible connection to the German neo-Nazis who allegedly killed 10 people.
Police suspect that the man passed on a Czech-made handgun that was used as a murder weapon by the three-person gang, the daily newspaper Tages-Anzeiger reported.
Police spokesman Michael Fiechter said investigators are not aware of any direct links between the suspect and right-wing extremists.
Another man was briefly arrested last month but quickly released on the same suspicion.
The gun was found in the neo-Nazi's destroyed apartment in Zwickau in the Germany state of Saxony.
