Spotlight turns to American-Chinese cinema at Berlinale

Berlin - The Berlin Film Festival spotlight turns to American cinema on Monday, with the world premier of US director Billy Bob Thornton's movie Jayne Mansfield's Car.
The festival is also screening the Chinese director Zhang Yimou The Flowers of War set in Nanking, China in 1937. The film stars British actor Christian Bale and Chinese actress Ni Ni.
Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie is to receive the Cinema for Peace prize, which is presented outside the festival, on Monday evening.
Jolie recently made her directoral debut with In the Land of Blood and Honey.
