German party leaders to discuss Wulff's successor Saturday

Berlin - German Chancellor Angela Merkel is to meet Saturday with coalition leaders to discuss possible successors to President Christian Wulff, who resigned Friday over corruption allegations.
Merkel is to meet with Horst Seehofer who heads the Christian Social Union, the Bavarian counterpart to her Christian Democrats, and Philipp Roesler of the Free Democrats, as well as the parliamentary party leaders, coalition sources said.
They have set aside five and a half hours for discussions.
