Feb 17, 2012, 23:11 GMT
Windhoek - Six members of German Bundesliga team Hoffenheim's under-23 team were injured in a bus accident in Namibia, a team spokesman said late Friday.
The team had completed a training camp in south-western Africa and were on a bus to the airport when the accident occurred.
Six members of the team were hospitalized with minor injuries, while the rest of the side were driven to a hotel. They are now awaiting a Sunday flight home to Germany, the team said.
Frank Kramer, coach of the Hoffenheim under-23 squad, said they had 'unbelievable luck' not to have suffered more serious injuries.
Details of the traffic mishap were not immediately available.
