AC Milan say Ibra not responsible for hurting pedestrian
Feb 22, 2012, 15:42 GMT
Rome - AC Milan ruled out any responsibility of their striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic in connection with an alleged road accident involving a pedestrian outside the club's camp, the Serie A club said on their website Wednesday.
Local media quoted a reporter as saying the pedestrian was struck on the hand by the side mirror of the footballer's car on Tuesday as she stood on the road outside the Milanello training centre.
The woman was treated in hospital and said she would press charges against Ibrahimovic for failing to stop and assist her.
The Swedish footballer was quoted as saying that he did not notice the woman had been hurt.
