Dec 9, 2008, 13:28 GMT
London/Dublin - Irish beef was found to contain levels of dioxins after tests at beef farms, Irish authorities reported in Dublin on Monday.
The risk to human health was however low, the report said.
The news comes after a recall of Irish pork products dating back to September 1. Potentially dangerous dioxins were discovered in pork traced to a meat plant in the Republic of Ireland.
