Taiwan's confirmed swine-flu cases rise to five

Taipei - Taiwan on Friday reported the two more confirmed infections with the new strain of the H1N1 virus, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to five.
The fourth case is a woman who returned from the Philippines on Wednesday and tested positive for the H1N1 virus strain Friday, the Centres for Disease Control (CDC) said.
Health officials are checking if this her daughter and sister, who accompanied her to the Philippines, are infected.
The fifth confirmed case is a sister of a woman who was confirmed to be infected on Thursday. The two sisters contracted the virus while visiting the United States.
Taiwan reported its first confirmed case of H1N1 Wednesday, after an Australian cruise-ship doctor tested positive for the virus after visiting the US.
As of Friday, Taiwan has five confirmed cases of H1N1, but all the patients are recovering in hospital after receiving treatment.
