Beirut - Three cases of swine flu have been confirmed in Lebanon, Health Minister Mohammed Jawad Khalife announced Saturday.
They involved a Lebanese who came from Spain and two others who arrived from Canada a week ago, Khalife told local radios.
'The three people suffering from the swine flu were put in quarantine and we gave them the right medical treatment in time and they are well now,' he added.
Khalife stressed that Lebanon was taking the necessary measures at Beirut airport. 'The situation is under control,' he said.
