Czech Republic reports second swine flu case

Prague - A woman was confirmed Thursday to have contracted the new A(H1N1) influenza in the Czech Republic's second swine flu case, the country's Health Ministry said.
The woman arrived from the United States on May 27. She checked into a Brno hospital two days later with elevated temperature and muscle pain.
However, her symptoms were mild and she was released to home care on Tuesday, the ministry said in a statement.
The Czech authorities reported the first swine flu case on May 25 when a 29-year-old pilot was confirmed to have been infected with the new virus. He also recently returned from the United States.
The World Health Organization has recorded nearly 19,300 cases of the new influenza in 66 countries since April, with 117 deaths. Most cases occurred in Mexico and the United States.
