British girl dies of swine flu, country's third fatality

London - A 9-year-old girl died Monday from the H1N1 virus, making her the third fatality from the virus in Britain, health officials reported.
The girl died in a children's clinic in the city of Birmingham, the clinic disclosed.
Her death follows on that of a 73-year-old man in Scotland on Saturday from the swine flu virus.
Britain has more than 4,300 confirmed swine flu cases, the most of any European Union member state. Spain follows with 431 confirmed cases.
