Nepal confirms two more swine flu cases

Kathmandu - The Nepalese government Thursday said more swine flu cases have been discovered in the country since the virus was first reported in the country earlier this week.
The new cases were confirmed in two children in the Kathmandu valley, the Ministry of Health and Population said.
The latest cases bring the total number of confirmed swine flu, or H1N1, cases in the country to five.
On Monday, the Nepalese government said swine flu had been confirmed in three people, including a child, who had arrived in the country from the United States.
'Pandemic Influenza A, H1N1 cases were reported in a 17-month male child and a 5-year old boy,' the ministry said. 'Of the two infected boys, the 17-month-old was a member of the family that had earlier been reported on 29 June as being infected.'
The 5-year-old boy was a relative of the family who had spent a day with them, the ministry said.
'All the infected have been quarantined and are being treated in a hospital in Kathmandu,' the ministry said.
