Malaysia - Malaysia on Thursday reported its first fatal case of swine flu with the death of an Indonesian student, officials and news reports said Thursday.
The 30-year-old man, who was diagnosed with the H1N1 virus, died Thursday from cardiac arrest due to ventricular fibrillation, Health Minister Liow Tiong Lai said.
The deceased suffered from an obesity problem and had an enlarged heart and liver, Liow was quoted as saying by the Star online news portal.
Malaysia has recorded more than 900 swine-flu infections since reporting its first case on May 15.
