First Dutch national dies from swine flu

Amsterdam - A teenager was the first Dutch national to die from swine flu, the Dutch royal institute for public health RIVM reported on Tuesday.
The 17-year old already suffered from a serious disease when he contracted the H1N1-virus, the RIVM said. He died in the night between Monday and Tuesday.
So far, there have been 663 reported Dutch cases of swine flu, of whom 151 people contracted the disease in the Netherlands. Since April, a total of 9 people have been hospitalized.
