Bangkok - A special task force of Bangkok police delivered their 42nd baby to a woman stuck in a cab in the capital's notorious traffic en route to hospital, media reports said Tuesday.
Three police trained in making back-seat operations on Monday successfully delivered a healthy boy to Nida, a 22-year-old Myanmar national, and her Thai husband, Charoen Saengmai, the Bangkok Post reported.
It was the 42nd baby delivered in Bangkok's notorious traffic jams by police who have been specially trained at midwifery under a royally initiated project in 1993, Police Senior Sergeant Major Mana Jokkhoksung said.
