Take this story as a warning: Never use a non-board certified plastic surgeon.
ABC News reported that Dinora Rodriguez went to a recommended non-board certified doctor for a breast augmentation and left with a uniboob, nerve damage, and a scary message of warning to those thinking similar thoughts.
There are no bargains when it comes to plastic surgery.
The surgeon cut across the fascia and breast tissue which allowed for the implants to fuse together and in doing this, he create a uniboob effect.
The surgeon also performed an eyelift on Dinora’s eyelids (she never asked for this procedure), which are now damaged. Rodriguez’ eyes will never close normally.
Rodriguez is now part of an advertising campaign by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons to warn women about unqualified doctors.
The American Society of Plastic Surgeons said:
“Rodriguez had breast implant surgery from a non-board-certified plastic surgeon and woke up horrified to learn that her implants were merged together.”
Here is an image of Dinora after the surgery, complete with uniboob.

Rodriguez sued her surgeon and was able to recover enough to have reconstructive surgery. Still, Rodriguez regrets using an unqualified surgeon. Rodriguez said:
“My biggest mistake is that I didn’t check any of her credentials. I found out later that she had done really bad surgeries on some other people too.”
