I feel that the monks are wrong to criticize The Dalai Lama's inaction. They should realize that he is not being indecisive or ignoring the issue by not acting. He has made the decision not to act. He has his reasons.
Personally, I would like the management to be totally Buddhist which might help the temple management to work together peacefully. But - perhaps not! If even Tibetan Buddhists within the same lineage can fight with each other, how much hope is there for peaceful coexistance between all branches of Buddhism.
