Its good that some one came forward to take such a firm action, but at the same time I sympathize for those traders and families who depend on those commercial establishments. 55000 establishments would be supporting atleast 2 to 3 Lakh people. Some alternate solution for the effected should have been proposed before taking such an action. Such as displacement of the businesses to another location etc.
I just Hope this works out for both the sides, the implementers and the affected.

As long as there is rampart corruption in the administration, traders will always find a way out to curcumvent rules and regulations.
