Spice launches mobile TV, to show ICL live

Chandigarh, Dec 13 (IANS) Mobile telecom provider Spice Thursday launched Spice TV - offering 13 channels, including live telecast of the Indian Cricket League (ICL) matches being played in Panchkula near here.
The service was launched in the presence of all six ICL team captains - Brian Lara, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Craig Macmillan, Marvan Atapattu, Chris Cairns and Stuart Law.
The channels being offered include news channels NDTV, CNN-IBN, entertainment channels Zoom and Bindaas and the Cartoon Network.
'The service is being offered to subscribers free for one month. Spice has always been innovative. It is offering live cricket for the first time,' Spice vice president Mukul Khanna said.
The ICL matches are being played at Panchkula till Dec 16.
