Rahul Gandhi to do poll road shows in Himachal Pradesh

Shimla, Dec 15 (IANS) Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi will carry out election road shows in the twin valleys of Kullu and Mandi Sunday ahead of the assembly polls in Himachal Pradesh next week.
Gandhi will start the road show from the town of Kullu and pass through Shamshi, Bhunter, Bajoura, Aut, Pandoh among other places, said a party spokesman here late Saturday.
He will then move to Mandi district and cover over half a dozen prominent places before winding up at Sundernagar.
Gandhi is flying into the hill state barely hours after his mother and the Congress President Sonia Gandhi held two election rallies at Shimla and Una Saturday.
Polling for the second and final phase for the 65 assembly seats is taking place Dec 19 and the counting starts Dec 28.
