Pravin Mahajan found guilty of murder

Mumbai, Dec 17 (IANS) A Mumbai court Monday found Pravin Mahajan guilty of murdering his brother, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Pramod Mahajan, in April last year.
The trial court found Pravin Mahajan guilty of murder and house trespass. The quantum of sentence is likely to be pronounced Tuesday.
Pravin had pumped three bullets into his brother Pramod on the morning of April 22, 2006 at the BJP leader's house in Worli, central Mumbai. A fourth bullet had got stuck when the revolver malfunctioned.
After the shooting, Pravin walked down to the nearby Worli police station and surrendered.
