EU's Solana calls Mideast peace agreement by end of 2007

Cairo - European Union chief diplomat Javier Solana and Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul-Gheit in Cairo on Thursday called on Israel and the Palestinians to reach a peace agreement by the end of 2007.
During the short visit by Solana to Egypt, both ministers also called on the United States to aim for progress in the conflict by the end of the year, as the time before the 2008 elections acted as a 'window' of opportunity in which the parties to the conflict could find agreement on fundamental issues.
Solana said that the region needed to reach an 'end of the game.'
Solana, who earlier Thursday also met Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, is to continue his tour in Israel, the Palestinian territories and Jordan.

I call on Javier Solana to eat Dog Doo. He is a very wicked man.
Wake up, people! A peace agreement has to happen eventually to fulfill prophecy. Solana may be a key player in this prophetic event. While we know the truth and suffer for our friends in Israel, we cannot disregard that all players in the end time are fulfilling their destiny, just as Judas did. God is still on His throne.

Solana has been touted as being some antichrist of Biblical prophecy. He is not. The 'confirmed covenant to many' was Jesus Christ. The covenant was confirmed in Christ by God, in heaven, 430 years before the law was given to Moses. Gal. 3:17.
Jesus 'confirmed' it on earth among men when He died on the cross and rose again.

Why would the Commander and Chief give us the imperative to 'WATCH (Mark 13:37)' if we couldn't know when and who was coming? No doubt we can't know the 'day or hour' of the rapture but many other dates seem to be on the table. As for Solona, all that is missing is a big NEON sign. By grace we can know and get the word out. We can prepare for the enormous ministy.

I believe you are correct about Solana and who he is but as far as the rapture goes, it does not happen until 'immediately after the Tribulation.' Please read the words of our Lord in Matthew 24:29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven (the 6th Seal of Revelation), and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 AND He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet (the 7th Trumpet of Revelations - 1st Corinthians 15:51), and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Also see Mark 13:24-27 and 2nd Thessalonians 2 which also says the antichrist will appear before the day of the Lord and our gathering unto Him.
The pretribulation myth has a lot of Christians sitting and waiting and not paying attention to the signs and the world government being built up around them. And it is all because their news stations are told to ignore it and they believe that this stuff doesn't happen until after the rapture. Go to YouTube.com and do a search on 'Lou Dobbs and the North American Union.' Europe is a union, so is Africa, and South America, Asia is building one and now it is time for North America. This goes out to salmondaddy(what a name). The rapture will happen before the great tribulation. When Jesus comes back to earth, yes the moon and starts, and the sun will change and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. That is when Jesus returns to the earth with his saints and angles. And who is the saints? I will tell you who the sains are, they are the people that were raptured before that horrible time of distress called the tribulation. Jesus does not come back by himself, he has the saints(the church) and angles to accompany him to earth. Jesus told you in scripture to pray always to count yourself worthy to escape all these things and stand before the Son of Man. Jesus has offered us an escape. Also God's word says that we are not appointed to wrath. I have had a rapture vision given to me by Jesus last year, and Jesus showed me it will happen soon, but I was given no dates. I will tell you what it will be like. One minute you are on earth, and the next you are in Heaven. It will be that quick. It will not even feel like you have be transported to Heaven. Like the bible says it will be in a twinkling of an eye. Plus there have to be a wedding, the wedding supper of the lamb. And that will take place in Heaven, not on this earth where there will be distruction from the wrath of God and a huge war. So wake up, and do not be diecieved.

I would encourage you to look at the word 'After' in the Greek though. The word is 'meta' and the Strong's number is 3326. It denotes accompaniment or 'amid.' The translator’s use of 'After' is misleading. The description is very similar to the 6ths Seal (Rev 6:12-17) and indicates that this time period will be when the Saints that remain are caught up to be with the Lord. We know that we are removed from His wrath, which begins during the first Trumpet judgment. We also know that his wrath last longer than 5 months since this is the time frame that those on earth will suffer from the demonic locust. So when could the rapture be? We know that we can't know the 'Day or hour' (Matt 24:36). Could we know within two days? God fulfilled 4 spring feast in the King's first coming. I believe He will fulfill the last 3 Fall feast in His Second coming. The First feast is Rosh Hashanah. It was celebrated on two days because its timing was determined by the first waxing of the New Moon. To be sure they didn't miss it, the Jews celebrated on two days. I am looking at 2010, 2011, 2012. I am betting on 2012. Even so Come Lord Jesus!
The 5th Seal (Rev 6:9-11) indicates that Saints have already suffered under Anti-Christ. This agrees with 2 Thess 2:1-4 as you indicated. Times will get tough, but in God's goodness he will purify the saints.
Look for peace between Israel and her enemies (White Horse Rev 6). It doesn't have to be 7 years because we already have the covenant. When it comes, look for destruction (Red Horse Rev 6, 1Thess 5.) The Father detailed the Red Horse for us in Ezekiel 38 & 39. Notice in Ez 39:6 that after God waxes Israel's enemies, He will destroy the enemies land with fire. This land (the land of Magog) is much of the Middle East. The economic collapse that will ensue will make 9/11 pale in comparison (Black Horse Rev 6). Finally, this will lead to chaos and death of the 4th Seal (Ashen Horse).
Blow the trumpet! Sound the horn! The KING of KINGS is coming! God if it pleases You, prepare us for the incredible ministry and testing that is coming. Why would those days need to be shortened if the “elect” were gone (raptured) before the tribulation began?

The verse above (IMHO) says the Day of our Lord AND our gathering to Him are same day events that will not take place until at the earliest (possibly) the mid-tribulation point where the antichrist is revealed and takes over the temple in Jerusalem (the abomination of desolation). We are not gathered until the antichrist is revealed and the apostasy has taken place - at the earliest. But since it also mentions the DAY OF THE LORD, I would assume that this is immediately after the tribulation has ended - according to the Matthew & Mark scriptures above.
Revelation 10:7 but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound (the 7th Trumpet), the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.
Question about the 7th Trumpet:
With the sounding of the 7th Trumpet in Revelation (the final trumpet – 1st Cor 15:52?) and the mystery of God is finished – is this because the Church has now been raptured? Sounds like it. I think if someone reads Revelation carefully they will find that the 6th Seal, the 7th Trumpet, and the 7th vial all happen at basically the same time. The seals, trumpets, and bowls of wrath do not follow each other, but over lap.
Check out the rapture in Revelation 14:14 - the great harvest of the earth. Did you notice that it immediately precedes the Battle of Armageddon in 14:17-20? Sounds like the Day of the Lord to me.
Compare 'each' of the six seals with our Lord's words in Matthew 24:5 (white horse), 24:6 (red horse), 24:7 (black horse), 24:7 (pale horse), 24:9 (persecution of Saints), 24:29 (Day of the Lord), 24:31 (Rapture)

Considering that the fossil record dates modern humans as being around for (approx)150 thousand yrs, and that the dinosaurs ruled for about 300 million yrs, what was your god doing? Was he playing with clay? Did he get a better idea on Thursday? Please enlighten me to your vast powers of reasoning.
Goose, the dinosuars are in the book of Job... I think chapter 41. Salmondaddy, I think you are thinking the 2nd coming is the rapture. In the rapture Jesus does not come to earth...we meet him in the air. If no one knows the day or the hour of his return it has to be before the trib. If it were in the middle of the trib or at the end of the trib I would know to the exact day it would occur. Either exactly three and one half or 7 years after the signing of the 7 year peace treaty. Just make sure you are saved by Jesus!
