There are some details that not allowed me to agree with Mr. Nelson. The mission of Britain's soldiers is not to provide peace and progress just in the south of Iraq, but as a part of coalition to reduce violence in the whole Iraq, make the progress in this country irreversible. The situation in Iraq is far from stable, peaceful and predictable. And what we see - Washington sending additional troops, whereas London reduces owns. More logical and correct decision should be transferring part of Britain's soldiers from Basra to Baghdad.
Please allow me to make one more remark. To constitute democracy and peace in Iraq is not the goal only USA. It is and should be the goal of whole western civilization. Not suppressed just now Muslim’s terror would spread worldwide.
