Israel arrests two Palestinians suspected of killing settler (Extra)
Feb 26, 2007, 21:19 GMT
Tel Aviv Israeli troops arrested two Palestinians suspected of stabbing a West Bank settler to death, the Israeli Ha'aretz daily reported Monday night, quoting the Shin Bet internal security service.
The two, both aged 18, were detained Sunday night, several hours after the body of Erez Levanon, 42, was found in the southern West Bank, north of Hebron.
They reportedly told interrogators they killed Levanon out of 'nationalist' motives, but not on behalf of any militant organization.
