Israeli ambassador recalled for bare diplomacy
Mar 12, 2007, 11:39 GMT
Jerusalem - Israel's ambassador to El Salvador was found drunk and naked, wearing only 'sex accessories' which cannot be considered part of diplomatic dress, outside his residence late last month, diplomatic sources in Jerusalem said Monday.
Local police guarding the San Salvador residence discovered him in the yard of the villa - handcuffed and gagged with a rubber ball in his mouth, said the sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity owing to the sensitivity of the 'very embarrassing' affair.
The ambassador, in his 50s and gay, is not married, the sources told Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa.
A foreign ministry spokesman, Yariv Ovadia, would only say that 'immediately when the affair became known, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs acted quickly and decisively.'
He described the envoy's behaviour as 'inappropriate' and 'unacceptable' although it did not constitute a crime.
The ambassador was relieved of his posting and recalled to Israel, where his explanation was eagerly awaited.

That's funny to me!
'spank me like a naughty palestinian!'
Oh, you know guys like Ferox are turned on by that. His hands are in his pants right now, as we speak.

Out come the tweezers and the magnifying glass.
LoL! Owned.
Wonder how Ferox managed to get away whilst leaving the ambassador to face the music? Who wants to bet Ivor and Syed were their too.

At last a representative of Israel with a fitting sense of humility - or might one even say, submissiveness?
