At least 12 Iraqi soldiers killed, 26 wounded

Baghdad - At least 12 Iraqis soldiers and officers were killed and 26 others wounded in operations during the past 24 hours, according to an Iraqi military statement released Sunday.
Six militants were killed while 23 others were arrested in action around the Iraqi capital's suburbs, the statement added. Also large amounts of weapon caches were found and ten explosive devices were defused.
The Fard al-Qanoun - Law Enforcement - security plan had been officially launched February 14.
