Young Palestinian killed in West Bank

Ramallah - Israeli soldiers raiding an area south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin early Thursday shot and killed a 16-year-old Palestinian, according to medical sources.
They said the soldiers raided the area to arrest activists and while they were there residents threw rocks at them.
The soldier fired back live ammunition killing Ahmad Asassa, 16, and injured two others, said the sources.
Asassa was the second fatality caused by Israeli army activities in the Jenin area within 24 hours.
