Kidnapped children used for terrorist attacks: Interior Ministry

Mar 29, 2007, 9:35 GMT

Baghdad/Riyadh - Terrorist groups in Iraq use children and mentally-ill people for suicide attacks, the Iraqi Interior Ministry said Thursday.

Most of the children were kidnapped by the extremists, Abdul Karim al-Kanani, director of the Department for Special Operations told the Arab newspaper al-Sharq al-Awsat.

The children are especially used for attacks with car bombs, 'because parked cars with children sitting in them usually do not get searched,' al-Kanani said.

During raids, police had discovered houses where kidnapped children were held captive, he added.

Last week a US general in Baghdad said that terrorist groups in the capital's Adhamiya district were using children as suicide attackers for the first time.

According to al-Kanani, extremists had been abusing children as suicide bombers in Iraq as early as 2005.

Yeah, its all a lie, the terrorists would never kidnap children and put them in cars to stop searches and then blow up the kids...nope, would never happen.

just like they'd never fly planes full of civilians into civilian targets. just like they'd never bomb embassy's full of local workers in africa, just like they'd never get onto civilian transportation and blow themselves up to kill as many civilians as possible.

Anyone who thinks this is 'coalition garbage' needs to get their head out of their arse and realize that the enemy we are fighting is willing to do whatever it takes to push its agenda of Muslim rule over the world. It isn't about oil, it isn't about their right to govern, its about the terrorists who use their ideology as an excuse to kill everyone that doesn't believe the same and are willing to do whatever it takes because they think their 'book' excuses their disgusting, immoral, horrible and down right evil behavior.
